'UrbanLibrary was founded on a simple vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Rossi kin in 1985, our pizza shop began as a humble, family-owned business infused with recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, our progenitor, honed the craft of pizza creation while exploring Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the cradle of pizza. After her journey to the UK, she aspired to recreate the essence of classic Italian pizza, employing ancestral techniques and premium ingredients.
Starting as a quaint eatery with just 12 seats, it has flourished into a cherished neighborhood staple, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness stands steadfast. We adhere to the traditional wood-fire oven baking, craft our dough each morning, and choose the best ingredients available.
Currently, 'UrbanLibrary' is still under the ownership and operation of the Rossi family, with the succeeding generation steering our dedicated team. Although we've adopted modern approaches, at our core, we're still dedicated to producing scrumptious, authentic pizza that unites the community.
